Description (Backhousia citriodora) A superb, large subtropical rainforest tree of central and south-eastern Queensland with masses of white flowers in summer. The floral, perfumed “lemony” leaves are excellent in sweet and savoury infusions, curries, baked goods, sauces, soups and braises – extremely versatile.
